Article from Jamison Ranch Herefords and Quarter Horses

The Colorado Cowboys For Jesus were born 32 years ago when Vern Thomson became a member of the Flying W Wranglers, at the World Famous Flying W Ranch in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Vern was a believer and privileged to work at the Flying W and get to tell a secular audience of God’s Love. Stephenson, a fellow believer joined him 19 years ago and the two have been playing & singing together ever since.

They have performed and entertained all over the world, delighting audiences at New York City’s Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., in addition to entertaining millions at the Flying W Ranch. Their performances highlight traditional Gospel songs sung in a true western style with lots of hand clappin’ fun and the Good News that Jesus Christ lives.

Vern and Joe answered God’s call on their lives 4 years ago and went into full time Ministry. They have been blessed as they’ve travelled coast to coast & around the world praising their Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. They’ve worked with Compassion International, Andrew Wommack Ministries, Moody Bible Network, Focus On The Family, the Christian & Missionary Alliance, the Alliance Defense Fund, Life Network, the Navigators, Glen Eyrie, & many local Churches and ministries across the country.(Read more)

The Colorado Cowboys for Jesus have helped start two Cowboy Churches serving as Pastors and Music Ministers in Colorado Springs as well as Canon City, Colorado. The “Colorado Cowboys For Jesus” share the wonderful story of God’s Amazing Grace. The message is a love story of what Jesus has already done for you. He will change your life, if you’ll only let Him. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Come Celebrate the Love of Jesus with us! For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
